When the outstanding receivables of sponsorships and advertising is
factored in, the net for the Boat Show becomes $3,812.41. Several
questions come to mind since this year's Boat Show was different from the
preceding years. #1:
Should we develop a proposed budget for the upcoming year. #2:
Should we be filing with the IRS? Member Kent Stroebel stated that revenues over
$500.00 make us liable for IRS reporting. This will be studied. #3:
We are selling items at the boat show and selling our calendars.
Are we liable for state sales tax? The
calendar sales were a financial success due to a large order of 50 calendars. No
tax is charged. A
surplus is shown after this year's Boat Show of about $4,000.

All interested persons are invited to bring ideas. Myndy
