All permits for the boat show have been secured.

The Boat parade will take place on Sunday rather than Saturday.

Fund raising has taken top priority at this time. Two posters will be distributed, a promotional poster and a retail poster to be sold.  Mike and Mark Snelling are setting in place the posters and the programs.  Queen City Press may be asked to print the posters, if funds are available, at the price of $3,500. Sharon Meyer of WCAX television will have a series of interesting vintage boats on the lake.  Vermont Life will do an article next year on LCACBS. Mike, Mark Snelling and Tom Anderson are searching for sponsors for the show.

Schedule of Events

June 18th at Essex will kick off the Vintage Boat Rendezvous’ for the summer.

July 8th has two rendezvous’ scheduled, at both Hero’s Welcome and Westport Marina .  Members are encouraged to support Westport Marina as it is their 25th anniversary of the marina and they have extended a hardy welcome to our members. It was decided to delete Hero’s Welcome from that date.

The Wings, Wheels and Keels event on September 10th at the Basin Harbor Club in Vergennes will be called instead, The Vintage Boat Rendezvous. This year there will be no antique cars and few airplanes.

The Fall Cruise will take place on September 16th, 17th at Saranac Lake/Lake Flower.  Tom Anderson, chairman is making plans to be announced at a later date.
