> SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 10  Noon rendezvous at Basin Harbor.  We can gather
> at the waterfront and then
> head to the Red Mill for lunch.  ( Note that there will not be Wings,
> Wheels & Keels this year. )

> SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 16   9AM - 3 PM  Fall Cruise at Saranac Lake.   We
> will launch at the Lake Flower ramp on Rt 86.  Jay Anis of  Spencer
> Boat Works, will lead us on a tour through the locks to Lower and
> Middle Saranac Lakes.  You can get picnic goodies at the nearby Lake
> Side Deli.  We may be joined by boats from a New Jersey Chapter.  Don't
> miss this primo event.

> You may want to arrive Friday night and perhaps stay over Saturday. 
> There are a lot of interesting places to stay in Saranac.  The Lake
> Side Motel , 234 Lake Flower Ave 1 877 891-0577 is nearby and has

> The Lake Champlain Maritime Festival and Boat Show is now history and
> it was an event that we will long remember!  The boats were
> spectacular.  Jim Shotwell's kit boat got the youth program off to a
> good start with help from  Amanda Munson and Jack Pfister.   New this
> year was the Maritime Festival, a raffle, poster art  from Tom Vieth,
> and the National Guard Air Show over the waterfront.  WOW!  The Sunday
> deluge prompted us to cancel the parade, but there was lots of action
